Every spring, I start hearing the same thing from homeowners:“We’re doing a big spring clean… maybe we should sell this year.” 🌸Spring cleaning is a great time to refresh your home. But interestingly, there are a few things people do during that process that can actually quietly lower how buyers perceive the home’s value.Here are 3 spring cleaning mistakes I often see:🧺 1. Over-personalizing while “refreshing.”It’s tempting to add bold décor, bright paint colors, or lots of personal touches during a refresh. But buyers connect best with spaces that feel clean, neutral, and easy to imagine themselves living in.🧼 2.
